Bridge Technologies Announces VB330 Deployment Supporting Sunrise’s Streaming Evolution

in collaboration with Broadpeak, supporting high-quality IP-based TV delivery

Bridge Technologies has announced the deployment of its VB330 monitoring probe at Sunrise, supporting the Swiss telecommunications provider’s continued evolution of IP-based television services.

As viewing habits and technology requirements continue to evolve, Sunrise is strengthening its streaming capabilities for live and linear TV. Broadpeak’s Multicast ABR is one of the technologies used to support efficient and resilient IP-based delivery, alongside other delivery models that keep the platform flexible and under Sunrise’s control. This flexibility also allows Sunrise to integrate selected third-party technologies into its TV ecosystem as requirements evolve.

Bridge Technologies’ VB330 provides visibility into IP-based TV delivery and supports Sunrise engineering teams in validating and operating services across multicast and unicast delivery paths.
