Bridge Technologies is seeking a skilled and motivated software developer to join our high-performance team in Oslo. You will take part in all aspects of software development with an eye on delivering quality and achieve customer satisfaction. Experience in the media industry or with some of our key technologies is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications
– Bachelor/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
– Expert knowledge of C++ development in a Linux environment
– Experience with product relevant technologies including networking, media protocols, OTT, media processing, cloud
– Front-end skills in Javascript, HTML5, Svelte, React
– Experience with an agile way of working
– Experience with AI programming assists and AI prompting in general
– Familiarity with general tools such as git, Python, Rust, databases, AI, Docker

  • Technical Sales Engineer

    We at Bridge Technologies are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Oslo. Do you have a passion for working with customers and solving problems? Are you interested in designing solutions and demonstrating best in class broadcast monitoring products to our customers worldwide?

    Bridge Technologies provides carrier-grade monitoring solutions that enable broadcasters and operators to deliver professional quality TV and video services to home, hospitality, and mobile markets. Bridge also have essential tools for next generation IP and IT based uncompressed production environments end we are helping the transition to new workflows. We have equipment in operation in over 100 countries. Our customers are Production, Telecommunications and Streaming operators who expect a high level of quality and technical expertise from their equipment providers.

    You will be based in our Oslo office and your responsibility will be to demonstrate and design Bridge Technologies Hardware and Software (Linux) based solutions that work flawlessly within the customer’s environment. The job also involves close co-operation with our Sales Managers and Development teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrating our SW based and HW based video monitoring solutions
    • Working closely with our sales team on new projects and deployments
    • Develop technical solutions in close collaboration with our partners and customers
    • Customer training and presentations, both remotely and on site
    • Working with our marketing team on technical presentations for our social channels
    • Assisting our development teams with deployment, feature requests and end user feedback
    • On-site system installation, configuration and testing
    • Travel expected for Customer visits, Trade Shows and Exhibitions worldwide (10-20%)

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Relevant higher education: MSc., Cand. Scient (or equivalent). BSc will also be considered with relevant experience.
    • Experience in two or more of the following areas:
      • TCP/IP technologies, networks and protocols
      • Linux operating systems (specifically embedded systems)
    • TV Production, Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) or video compression
    • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to understand large systems
    • Proven presentation and customer interaction skills
    • Familiarity with cloud and container based system architectures
    • Shows initiative, independent and proactive

    You will have a positive attitude; want to work with an experienced team, developing tomorrow’s TV monitoring technology and products. Fluency in English is required and in addition one Scandinavian language is preferred. Any additional language skills are advantageous. Travelling should be expected.
